Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

1. Who we are

This website, www.pccdecking.ca, is operated by Pacific Coast Contracting Ltd., doing business as PCC Decking (“PCC,” “we,” “us”), a decking contractor serving Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. Our office is at 853 Seaborne Ave #2160, Port Coquitlam, BC V3B 0N9. For anything in this policy, contact us at info@pccdecking.com or +1 (604) 802-9083.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you request a free estimate or contact us, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the city you are in, the service you are asking about, and any project details you choose to share. The same applies when you phone or email us directly.
  • Information collected automatically. When you submit a form, our system records the page you submitted it from, and HubSpot (section 4) receives the request and the IP address it came from. This site does not currently run website analytics, and it sets no cookies of its own.
  • We do not ask for payment information through this website.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiry and schedule or provide your estimate;
  • To deliver and manage the decking work you engage us for, including service-related communications;
  • With your consent, to send occasional marketing messages in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) — you can unsubscribe at any time;
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business:

  • HubSpot — our customer relationship system, where form submissions are stored so our team can follow up;
  • Render — the hosting provider that operates this website and stores the content behind it.

These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. This site does not currently share information with advertising platforms.

5. Where your information is stored

Some of our providers, including HubSpot and our hosting provider, store and process data outside Canada, primarily in the United States. While in another country, your information may be accessible to that country’s authorities under its laws. If you have questions about our cross-border handling of personal information, contact us at the address in section 1.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website does not currently set analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not track you across other websites. If we introduce analytics or advertising measurement, we will ask for your consent through a banner before any non-essential cookie is set, and we will update this policy first. Most browsers also let you block or clear cookies entirely; doing so does not affect your ability to use the site or contact us.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry or project, and afterwards as needed to meet legal, tax, and warranty obligations. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, access to stored information is limited to people who need it, and we use reputable providers with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

9. Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent to our use of it (which may limit our ability to respond or provide services). We will respond to requests as required by the BC Personal Information Protection Act and PIPEDA. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 19 without a parent or guardian’s consent.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with an updated date.
