Building a deck in Surrey: what's required
In Surrey a building permit is required for most deck additions to a house. The City asks for a full drawing set — site plan, foundation plan, floor plan, cross section and elevations — with the permit fee due when you apply, and a damage deposit where one applies. Once the permit is issued the approved drawings have to stay on site for the whole build. We prepare and submit that package and deal with the plan reviewer directly, so the permit is our job rather than yours.

Do I need a permit to build a deck in Surrey?
